Missouri Tigers star defensive lineman Harold Brantley, a potential 2016 first round draft pick, suffered “serious” injuries from a single-car crash Sunday afternoon, the Columbia Daily Tribune reports.

According to the report, Bradley started driving off the left side of the road on U.S. Highway 63, and when he overcorrected to the right, his 2000 Chrysler Concorde slid off the road, hit a guard rail and overturned.

Neither Bradley nor the passenger, Missouri women’s basketball player Maddie Stock, were wearing seat belts.

Brantley and Stock were both transported to the University Hospital. Stock has already been treated and released, according to a hospital spokeswoman. Brantley remains in serious condition.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Brantley and his family. The 6-foot-3, 280-pound defensive lineman was named Missouri’s freshman of the year in 2013 and earned an All-SEC honorable mention after recording 54 tackles, seven tackles for loss and five sacks last season. Stay tuned for updates to this story.
